As a long-time Shire resident and father of two daughters, Graham understands the concerns of local parents for the safety and education of their children. Graham’s position as Chief Operating Officer of the National Rugby League Limited has earned him the reputation of a hard worker who gets results. As a Rugby League referee for over 25 years, Graham controlled over 250 first grade games as well as State of Origin and International Test Matches. During his career he demonstrated the importance of making difficult decisions under pressure. Graham has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors, including as Quality Service Manager at the NSW Roads and Traffic Authority (RTA). He has also been National Customer Service Manager at McWilliams Wines, DHL Worldwide Express and a Customer Service Manager at the NSW TAB. Through his work with the National Rugby League, Graham has supported and encouraged the work of charities and community organisations and has proudly participated in McHappy Day that helps the families of sick children. Graham has trained young referees, club administrators and coaches, in rugby league and other sports. Graham has dedicated much of his working life to encouraging young people to take on the discipline, community spirit and self-pride of a healthy sporting life. |
